After 15+ years as a pro athlete, 10+ years as a biohacker and 5+ years of being in the Breathwork space I finally feel ready to assimilate all this into something that could be of value to the athletic & exercise community.

Intention is that through this program the combination and dedicated focus combined with storytelling and proper embodiment will accelerate and elevate understanding of how to work with Breathwork for elevated performance and wellbeing.

Problem

There is not a fundamental and easy program that includes multiple breathwork
parameters for exercising and athletic performance. While there are separate studies there is not
one comprehensive approach and program that is teachable and scalable for the training community.

Your guide and mentor

Johnny Oduya, former professional hockey player in the NHL, two-time Stanley cup champion and silver medalist in the Winter Olympics, Sochi 2014 and founder of hale center.

Over the past eight years I’ve dedicated my time and resources to research, training with the best in the field and applying knowledge of breathwork practically to myself and my clients as a trainer and coach. It’s been a journey of constant learning and growth.

In the last four years we’ve worked intensely to condense all this knowledge into an eight-week athletic breath certification program that’s been thoroughly tested and validated.

format Six week group camp accessible fully online with focus on creating a container for accountability and support for best results. With our experience coaches both in breathwork and training you will deepen your understanding of breathwork implemented in and around your daily active lifestyle.

who is it for For those who are active exercisers on a non professional level. The camp program is also useful for athletes looking to take performance to the next level or trainers preparing for the athletic breath certification.

workouts

There will be a WORKOUT A that is more focused on strength and a WORKOUT B that is focused on muscle endurance and power.
Perform workouts at top of YOUR ability. They are constructed to be done in a gym or with light equipment when traveling.
The volume could feel to little for some and slightly high in combination with the rest of the program for others.
Workouts can be performed any time of day. If you are on a specific program you can use that or combine exercises.

bike sprints & endurance

There will be two stationary bike sprint sessions each week with progression.

You will perform all out sprints to the max of YOUR ability. We do these sessions to see how much you can raise your ability to repeated push intensity over time.

whoop

We are tracking HRV, SLEEP, RECOVERY and TRAINING LOAD continuous throughout the camp.
You will be invited to the WHOOP community. Here you will share and track you ongoing scores along with your team members. You can chat ask questions or invite members for communal workouts and sessions.
You also need to track and document all workouts either before or after the session.
